Guys like you is why people stop being refs and coaches. The first thing I would do is charge you with assault!!!!
That wouldn’t be very smart on your part. Besides police are too busy. It would take them hours to show up. I don’t put up with crap from coaches or refs. And I defend my kids honour!
Sure you do ORHL dad. Sure you do.
Wrong, buddy! GTHL ALL THE WAY….we play with the big boys, none of these small little towns or cities on the outskirts of Toronto.
We play where the money is GTHL!!!!!!
You know you’re on the way to the OHL and the show when you’ve made a AAA team in the G, especially a top rated team with a rich owner like TT for example, it’s nice because you get all the extra perks (swag, parties, trips) but not everyone is accepted on the team both parents need to be successful too, and they have to prove themselves.

If the coach doesn’t give my kid fair ice time, I’m walking right up and saying, “You don’t know who you’re messing with!” I’m a Greek god, a real φυσικό δείγμα (that means physical specimen, by the way) and my son is my mini me. You better play my boy or I’ll unleash some ancient Greek drama right here at the rink.

You don’t scare me, GOOF! Players from India are taking over, the Greeks and Turks are yesterdays news, they have to keep up with us now, the game is being taken over.
My kid never got fair ice time, and I’m not the type to make a big scene or email essays. I just get quietly furious, pack up, and we’re off to the next team. Call us team hoppers if you want, but if you don’t play my kid fair, we vanish faster than a coach’s promise in September.

Parents and kids crying about fair and equal ice time have to wake up and realize that they aren’t privileged and ice time is earned. No coach cares about what you did last season or even last game. You look like your scared on the ice, not working hard enough or being out skated well don’t be shocked when you don’t get lots of time. It’s common sense, your kid may be your superstar but coach plays player who can help the team win. No one cares about your opinion or feelings. If you can’t handle it, get another hobby.
Two things for you to learn :
1. There is no talent involved in maturing earlier than other kids
2. Coaches play the most mature kids, unequivocal data on this, no not crappy mature kids , but many average talented mature kid. Huge advantage!
So where does this leave coaches? I will tell you, it leaves them as self centred ego maniacs coaching for themselves and not giving a rats a$$ about any kid ( even very talented ones) that can’t help the coach win today! Pathetic when you break it down for what it really is !

Oh wow, thanks for the hockey TED Talk. Turns out it's not skill, just a race to puberty. Coaches out here drooling over 11 year olds with mustaches like it's Game 7, forgetting it's U12 and nobody's drafting anyone.
Development? Please. Just bench the late bloomers and ride the early sprouters like rented mules until they burn out or switch to Fortnite.
