I heard last year, one of his assistants had to yell at him on the bench for being abusive to his players... WTF is going on there. This guy has lost his marbles. I don't understand how the parents stand for it.

There's a lot more issues than just this one team. a lot. This chat is getting very specific though, would be great if someone could bring this to light and provide the parents with some identity protection to make official complaints.

All complaints must be kept confidential when they are dealing with minor league hockey, including parents names because they don’t want the players involved.

I promise you OMHA does not keep names confidential from exec. Exec is notorious for leaking right back to coaches...but don't tell anyone I told you.... (sarcasm)

100% they leak it back to the coaches, just another corrupt spoke in the wheel that the AMHA….it will only get worse. If OHF/OMHA don’t open borders some how, I’ll find another way out. Maybe I’ll “move”.

U10AA team same situation. Lots of personal cuts that made team worse intentionally, other more qualified coaches applied. Coach wife on the board. It’s another bad look.

He or she probably has a job, and a good one to pay for rep hockey.

They are clearly advocating for their primary focus, aka top priority, their child. Hopefully their message is reaching the right people to affect change.

For the U13 coach, I doubt he is there for his kid.Yes he does double shift his kid, does play him in every situation including in last minute PK, but he isn't there for kids, his included. He is power hungry.

Ok we get it.

Does anyone have any ideas if borders don't open how the parents can turn the association into a functional and democratic institution serving the development of the kids? Right now, the current board can (and does) block all newcomers or dissenting voices.
