The only stat they should be watching is how many AAA players in U10 are from outside Hockey Canada that were playing full ice all of U9 (and possibly earlier).
If the AAA temas are not taking the HC half ice transition kids over the rogue full ice kids then the system isn't working and the tier 1 \ MD stream should be adopting full ice sooner.
When HC realizes how much money they are losing, they will make a change. No matter what data they have, the almighty dollar wins out.
Most AAA teams are Klevr kids. We lost a few players after u10 AAA and replaced them with *drum roll* other kids that played Klevr. There are some centres that have MD kids, but they are mid or bottom feeder teams. However, this is not an attack on half ice hockey. Bottom line is that all of the talent left for Klevr and the kids in MD had no competition to push them, in games or practice. Only way to stop it is to bring back U9 AAA and take 1/3 of their kids away.
