Can't do that in OMHA, you're stuck, if the coach sticks around for 3-4 years and doesn't play your kid for PP PK or the third period ever your kid's development is over.
Well now you can go play where ever you want.......................
Maybe your kid isn't as good as what you think and maybe that's why they are not getting more ice time?
If you want fair and equal ice time, play local league. When you play rep, there is an understanding that your kid may not play in all situations and get their fair share of ice time.
My son got hardly any ice time during the playoffs.
Do you know how pissed my wife and I were? I almost knocked out the coach but didn’t because I have a medical condition.
Now reading this thread you guys brought up all these bad memories of my son not getting much ice time during the playoffs, I’m getting so upset that my blood pressure is going through the roof.

And how exactly will my kid make OHL and NHL playing in a local league, you’re not very smart, are you?
Every team my kid gets on they don’t give him fair ice time. It’s as if the coach is jealous of his talent and then benches him. It’s all our family thinks about, we obsess over this, we need answers, why? Anyone else experience this?
If a coach doesn’t give my kid fair and equal ice time, let’s just say it’s going to be a very bad day/week for him. Can’t get into details here but he will regret benching my kid or making him sit for another player’s penalty. I don’t want to brag or come off as a steroid head but you don’t wanna see me pissed off or lose my temper.
