I find the conversations about comparing team fees very ridiculous because almost all the time people are not comparing apples to apples. For example, if you ask some people what the team fees are they will include the GTHL fee while other people will not include the GTHL fee. Some teams don't provide any apparel or equipment while other teams provide everything except the helmet. Some team fees include 3 hours of practices a week while others budget for 4 hours. Unless you compare line items on the budget and what is included then you really don't know how the fees compare.
Nobody includes GTHL fees and no team provides everything but the helmet. You’re another sucker paying too much
You don’t know then.
Doesn’t sound like you do either.
Anyone who pays 10,000 or more is throwing money away
Hi AA dad!
So the only top 4 team that is $10,000 is JRC?
Who the f-ck would pay 10 G’s to play DMF NYR REPS REBELS TRW to lose to those teams 8-0?

It was a rude comment but I doubt anyone is jealous of SL. Full time golfer before U15 book it!

how do the GTHL fees compare to other leagues ? OMHA/Alliance/HEO/ ect.

Do coaches in other leagues get paid like the GTHL?

For the most part GTHL is more expensive but the coaching and competition is also far superior

Fees are much more expensive in the G. But more ice time in general, ice is more expensive, and coaches are paid much more. OMHA coach pay is anywhere from unpaid parent to the most I’ve heard at U13 is around $15k. Would be interested to know if there are any paid more than that.

My son has played in both. OMHA team was $5.5k, GTHL team was $12k (inclusive of gate fee). The amount of scheduled ice roughly the same, but none of our OMHA coaches were paid. Our OMHA team had parent coaches who were professional instructors but unpaid, so we saved on skills training. Both teams were top 4. Spring hockey not included in either number.

I find it shocking that at 2013 AAA level we are having this convesation. Are ther people on here just figuring this out or dont actually know all this? This is alike a u8 convesation... the G is more expensive. We all know that. Man
