No one needs to win anything in u10 at the expense of kids. No one will remember or care in a few years. You're a douche full stopGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 9:49 amShorter bench wins more games. You don't win the whole thing if you're not willing to do that. Full stop.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 9:41 amWhy would you shorten the bench for 9yr olds in regular season play? Only reason would be a discipline issue otherwise makes no sense to need to win the regular season with a round robin playoff format.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 9:06 am The biggest secret to MNS isn't the HC, it's the assistant coach (dad of #9 on defence, not their best player but once he develops watch out).
That guy makes it all work and has the HC looking great. If he goes, this team tumbles.
If I could get my kid on that team with that dad, I would. Yes, they play a short bench so it benefits if you aren't on the bottom of the roster but they obviously won. Regular season is no small feat and at this age playoffs are a lottery.
If you need a win. Play 19.

Re: 2015 AA
They play okay D but they are all basically grinders on forward. Not much skill up front and unless that changes they won't be better. They also show inconsistent effort. Always outshot mostly there one decent goalie keeping them in a few gamesGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 10:17 amMT consists of house league and Tier 3 players, some of whom joined the team last minute or even after official tryouts. The coach has done a very good job this season. If he replaces his weakest shift and secures the best possible goalie from an A team or offers significant playtime to a backup goalie from a top AA team, MT could possibly climb above HVS, Eagles, and DD with a few small adjustments and a bit of luck.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 9:31 amNope same coach next year.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 9:28 amHearing MT skate this weekend had 45 players show up???? Arent they folding?Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 11:43 amGood question. Any news about upcoming changes next year? Time to b!tch and spread around some fresh rumours. To make it more interesting, only 4 out of every 5 facts below are true.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 9:47 am Check out all the jealous clowns on here wishing their kid was on the northstars.
MNS- keeping 90% of the kids, but waiting if someone from AAA decides to join them
VP- already lost 2-3 kids to bottom end AAA and expect to find cover from VR. Parents are slowly getting frustrated with lack of development.
MB- everyone is happy with everything. The coach is looking to cut 3-5 weakest kids from various positions, keep 11 in the team and add 1-2 very strong kids to the roster.
FT- small changes are possible
VR- super active, looking for kids everywhere from A to AAA in OMHA, trying to attract a new goalie or 2 from AAA, strengthen defence and forwards. Will lose 1-4 kids to either AAA and VP.
TW, ST- under huge risk of being cannibalized by bottom AAA and to 5 AA teams. Will almost certainly loose their top forwards, kids from Jets and A will fill empty spots. It's understandable in case of ST, while kids from TW would benefit if they stay together for another season.
TE- will attract top 4 cuts, if they need them
DD- are searching for ways to improve, but the pool of kids who want to join DD is not huge.
HVS, WML, MJ and MT are not very interesting
Not too many rumours come from the East.
NYK will cut the weakest, NT- stable as usual, SIR and WHGH may get stronger next season.
Everyone is welcome to contribute, add and correct. At the end of the day, we all came here to consume or produce rumours.

Yeah, great job Eagles beating up on all the bottom feeders…..good luck for when you actually play a real playoff team

Re: 2015 AA
Ok eagles dad. When was the last time you beat a team with a winning record?
Re: 2015 AA
Not Eagle dad, but pretty sure that was last night, we had winning recordGuest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:16 pmOk eagles dad. When was the last time you beat a team with a winning record?

Exactly. I’m happy for these teams that get to feel good about how their season is going to end, but let’s not pretend that the final 4 won’t be VP, MNS, MB, and FT. Bottom line is that TE, TW or even VR were never serious contenders.
