Pretty sure there are a few “decent” players who didn’t jump to the “greener pastures”. I know of a couple of full teams that hold their own against the greener pastures.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2024 6:45 amUnfortunately, playing half ice hockey when all the decent players left for greener pastures will leave your kid skating half ice circles against ankle biters who can barely hold a stick.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 10:51 pmAll a complete scam. 2016 AAA

Re: 2016 AAA
Having both options is great. There are a few good players who have not moved and could easily have made a KSL Rier 1 team. For some still half ice is great. Especially kids who are not strong skaters. Putting them on full ice will only discourage them. The other great thing we like about KSL is having the option to play for any team without being restricted to your area.
Re: 2016 AAA
I agree, but they will have to wait until next spring to prove it after suffering through dozens of 16-0 wins over “A” and “AA” teams in the NYHL. Close to 100 teams registered for Klevr next year. Not much talent left.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 12:20 amPretty sure there are a few “decent” players who didn’t jump to the “greener pastures”. Re: 2016 AAA
Agreed. It might not be the most ideal season for a couple of teams but the narrative that “all the good players went to the KSL” is just wrong. There are a couple of non KSL teams that are doing quite well in spring against tier 1 KSL teams. To see people write that “a few could have made tier 1 KSL is delusional. Many (at least two NYHL teams worth) could have played tier 1 KSL but chose not to in order to stay with the core team (and coaches) that they have developed with the past few years and who they will play with in AAA at U10. Those coaches have strong programs and will weather the challenges of this one year.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 8:59 pmI agree, but they will have to wait until next spring to prove it after suffering through dozens of 16-0 wins over “A” and “AA” teams in the NYHL. Re: 2016 AAA
Are the best players in this age group on the YK and Aces in KSL or Duffield White?
Re: 2016 AAA
Duffield white is stacked.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 7:42 am Are the best players in this age group on the YK and Aces in KSL or Duffield White?
Re: 2016 AAA
Duffield white is the best positioned team leader into AAA , I believe they will be the Nats
Re: 2016 AAA
I see Aaron and the Goalie Dad is on here again. How do you figure they are leaders if they cant get a KSL team, like denied one? Gee I wonder why. So now they get to play Vaughan Red and Tier 2 and 3 teams which will be AMAZING for development. Not to mention they will put each goal they score on the other team on Instagram so they can show how 'dominant' they are!
Re: 2016 AAA
KSL fees range from 4k-7k depending on the team and program. Most, if not all, have sponsorships too which take costs down. Fees include your gear (uniform, bags, tracksuits etc) and tournament entries (but not hotels).
