OK, here’s the scoop. Apparently it’s been going on all season long. The caps coach went into the locker room after the game to yell at the kids for a tie game. One of the kids stood up in front of the whole team and told him to F-off and said some other stuff about his kid. The coach thanked him for his comments. The coach rewarded him with player of the game.
Nothing new. The caps should honestly get their own thread on mht. Always the same drama

You’re the one causing the drama and spreading rumours. No one from the Caps is on here talking about this. So stfu and the drama is gone.

Nothing new here. Been a circus all year with that team.
Was a circus last year too and will be the same next year. With full rebuilds you don’t know what you get.
Hard to believe the coach can’t control his players.

Talking to some caps parents this morning at the rink. Looks like a mass exodus. They were all taken for a ride from a snake oil salesman

I don't know how you call the 3rd place in the league, especially one with the Rangers in it, a dumpster fire. Very good team and will likely only have minor changes to their roster for next year. So unless you're kid is on the Rangers or Beast I would think you'd consider joining their roster an upgrade.

Eagles parents feeling a burst of confidence after a big win over HVS!! So the official story is "We made all these amazing improvements but it doesn't show in our results because, gosh darnit, the other teams in the league improved even more than us"??

Not sure where you would infer a “burst of confidence after a big win over HVS” from the previous statement. You sound like a bitter former cut or something. Perhaps even currently on HVS? Why wouldn’t it be an upgrade if you’re on a team that is lower in the standings. Isn’t that the whole premise of upgrading - replacing with a better version.

Eagles do great until Christmas every year, fall apart and add 8 players while keeping the same weak core because the good players see better opportunities with other orgs. Book it.

I could never figure it out with them, they have a big bench with strong players, but some cost them the game and he continues to roll them out. The team should be 5th in the rankings but the AAA's have not mixed well with the coaching style and their play is unstructured. I can't see any of them get back to AAA as they did not showcase well and the experience this year has probably made them worse.

Who cares guys. They are a 60th rank team in Ontario and your losing sleep over whether they change the coach or keep the old. We need teams like this in the loop. They help stretch the gap between the top 5 teams and everyone else. Careful what you wish for. Look at teams like the Beast, they were bottom and now they are Silverstick champions. Why? Because of a coaching change. They were the circus in years past and now with proper coaching probably the best team in the loop. All at the expense of teams like the Toros, Panthers, Wolverines, Caps and Jets. All struggled to just keep up.

LOL OK, but Beast went from bottom to where they are not because of coaching alone, come on! hahaha

Lots of coaching changes coming next season, so you could see some teams do a similar big jump or drop, like Panthers. You get groups of players leaving en masse and it's a full exodus for the new guy taking over.

North Stars, new coach and I think they'll remain competitive because he's a good coach.
Wolverines, new coach. They could collapse right to the bottom next season, no idea who the new coach is but that could get ugly.
Caps, who knows what will happen there.
Toros, had no idea they were making a change but apparently rumour is they are! I think that team has potential and simply looks lost so if the new guy is the right guy you could see a surprising turn around. Could, or they[re the Panthers next year.

Terrriers are starting to slip. looks like they are locked for 6 place now with only a few game remaining.

Caps and Wolverines seem to be battling for the 7th spot with the Wolverines having the easiest schedule. Jets would have to upset some tough teams to make a run for it now
