They are. It's all about putting it up on Instagram as well. OH look everyone, my kid is playing on a team with some kids who went to the brick and the MVP of the Brick from last year is here too. Their hockey goodness will just oooze into my kid.

But what’s worse tho? Coaches who try to associate themselves with top kids to sell their money maker hockey school brand?Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 1:23 pmThey are. Most coaches aren't getting paid. There seem to be a few who've started tournament teams and skills places who do this by constantly flashing the top kids...as if they had to do anything with why they're good. My humble recommendation would be don't go with a youth coach who is getting paid. I can't fault coaches who have started a business though simply because there are so many idiotic parents willing to pay lots of money for their kidGuest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 3:25 pmBut what’s worse tho? You’re thinking of the throne not BobGuest wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 10:13 pmare you sure everyone tries out? How? There's kids from all over. I find that hard to believe. It's a summer tournament.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 3:37 pmBest of the summer? That’s a stretch! Haha. There’s tryouts for the BoB teams, I’ll give you that. But the organizer is changing rules last minute to cater to certain teams, he can’t get the teams to play more than one year because it’s expensive and not worth it.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 8:39 amBOB and it’s not even close. BOB is invite only. Anyone who registers for SI and pays gets in, even single A kids registering in the AAA division. Total joke. The Throne tournament run by BOB is the best of the summer.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 7:42 amWhat’s better Si or Bob?
Re: Sports illustrated tournaments
Neither seems worth it to me...especially if you have to get on a plane to travel to it. Hockey tournaments have become ridiculous. IT'S SUMMER LOSERS!

Re: Sports illustrated tournaments
not sure what trolling means to you? Took me 5 seconds to type that versus you getting on a plane to take your kid to another hockey tourney.

You’re that worried about what’s going on that you felt the need to look at a troll site. You’re as crazy as the rest of us.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 9:55 pm not sure what trolling means to you? SI pays most of the coaches thats the only way you get sleaze balls like AB of the reps out. If you know better you aren't having anything to do with these tournaments.
