VR parents saying they will have the better team are wishful thinking.
Never heard anyone say VR will be better than VP. VR parents are mostly realists. Expect a strong mid pack team who will develop at a pace ahead of most other teams. Which is what this year should be about. Development.

VP and MNS have what look to be easier schedules in this tournament. I think they’ll both still be ahead of VR currently.

MNS plays VR tomorrow so the measuring stick will be there. But heard it’s not MNS full team.
VR plays consistently and will be better than midpack or if they are midpact they'll be the best midpack.

A MNS dad we know said they are down a couple of kids to injuries. I watched a bit of their second game and they dominated a not very good team. The goalie they got from OMHA is okay.

Close game against a mid pack East team

Settle down. You are starting to sound like an MB parent.
Watch the game, it's available on LiveBarn. VP is the team that plays like AAA, fast, focused, structured, while everyone else is still in AA mode.

As the playoffs proved…the east is so much better than the west.

The playoffs where the East team beat the West team by 1 goal in game 3 after facing zero quality opponents? That’s bold of you.

VP gets another lucky draw agains nyk. They get handed an easy path to the finals. Let’s see how they play against a real squad.

Pretty quiet on here past couple of days...everyone realize their teams are still pretty average despite all these great additions?

Not at all but it's rare to have full squads in Spring Tourneys etc so it's not a true depiction of what to come when kids are only in hockey season.
