Did Ajax Pickering Raiders get any talented kids?
AP is over half Whitby kids who cannot make AAA at home. Local AP kids are AA at best.

Will be a bottom feeder.
This comment aged well. Obviously made by a great hockey mind.

Maybe yse loss was a a little surprise, but not an upset by any means.

Heard through the rumour mill that Whitby is losing 5-7 kids to the GTHL next year. I think 4-5 of them will learn the grass isn’t always greener…

We'll see. I know they are taking a goalie and a dman from another OMHA team. Im sure they will still be a very solid if not spectacular team next season.

It's the right move for some. Not for others. I know my kid could probably play for any team in the G but I live in the country. The logistics of getting him to practice in Toronto 3 times a week would be a nightmare. He's also 10 years old and loves playing for his home center with his friends. How crazy right?

I also don't think it matters that much where they play. If they're good enough as they get older and into body contact people will take notice.
