From an outside perspective of someone who came across this thread. This makes me not want my kids to play hockey, which is crazy to say because I love hockey. It's sick that parents are cyberbullying other parents and kids.
People behind the anonymity of a screen with no screen names show their true colours. Post your names if you're proud of your comments.
I bet there is about a 0% chance of that because cyber bullies are the worst kind. That have no guts in person to say something to someone as grown-up in person but get really bold and tough behind a keyboard.
And the funny thing is the person or people saying toxicity is gone are the same ones cyberbullying others...I'd be very careful about joining a team like this. I have no interest in what happens either way ...although someone will say it's just people leaving or cast offs
Not the case, I have no kids this age or involved with this organization.
I'll leave this here as I am disgusted with what I have read
These parents need to take a long look in the mirror as you don't want your kids turning into you. Make a change for the better and keep it fun for the kids. Your kid will either be good enough or not. Leave the jealousy at the door and be a good person... probably too late for some of you, but not the kids hopefully.
I am a heavily involved volunteer parent coach within an association and your first line rings so true. There are so many times I wish my kid didn't like hockey so we weren't involved. I love coaching and love see to him excel but it can be too much at times.
Even at the lowest levels of hockey, the politics and fighting is rampant. Everyone from executive, to coaches, to trainers, to parents and even kids lose the perspective that hockey is supposed to be fun, an escape from the realities of work and school, with a little bit of exercise. Adults have ruined minor hockey with their egos and desire to win at all costs.
Minor hockey has a major problem in Canada that needs some serious changes.
Yeah it's sad really. Like look at the next comments. Someone probably jealous of a kid (pathetic a parent) . Posting trash about people's personal lives maybe because his kid can't make it.
You're definitely correct about minor hockey in Canada and it will be the reason other countries catch up and take over.
There should also be no site like this allowed to operate with people not having to show names because it leads to these terrible people not having consequences for what they say.
I have a couple of decent guesses who some are.
But why not stand up and own your comments.
To The Hamilton Steel parent that keeps reporting the same 30-40 posts over and over again stop it!
Post like this one does not point out any particular person and there is no reason to keep reporting it

Sounds like an angry U12 parent who’s still embarrassed their team lost 3x at that weak tournament. Long year ahead
AA, it’s time for the old man’s blue pill before you drain his prostate!
2013 parent cut obsessed with some kids mom is gross. Get a life, move on, your bulldog days are long gone and your obsession is disturbing. On to more important things how are the u14s doing in the OHL cup?

Seriously nobody wants to read crap from a drunk ex Bulldog parent cut or a nympho hockey tramp Mom. Neither of you have any respect in the hockey community and both of your kids are not even remotely relevant any more. Stay off here and let the rest of us have real hockey discussions. Next!

U14's got their asses lit up in the OHF's only scoring 2 goals in 4 games before getting bounced. And MS says that is the flagship team for the Steel organization. Ouch.

and the 2013 team got their 4 new players and lost 3 games in a super weak tournament in niagara including 2 losses to NN. The new Oakville kids are total duds, STA kid has no clue how to play hockey and LA TM LD AF were completely invisible all weekend and didn't do shit. Goaltending sucked just like all of last year. Even MS was complaining to some of our parents when he got back the Steel kids I mentioned are fading fast. The clock is ticking every other team. Know your place.

8 goals in 3 games is what actually happened. Do you even believe your own lies? Stick to destroying the culture of the team you are part of before moving on to others.

Dismissed after the round robin
