Listen, lets call a spade a spade. If you are looking at any of these tournaments to help your little Johnny make a draft spot, stop. Its a cool concept and a chance for kids to have some fun and get some cool rings. They get interviewed and posted on social media. But this is not where you are going to get drafted.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 5:10 pmGuest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 10:57 amOne of those hand picked AAA teams got absolutely crushed this morning..... embarrassing in such a weak tournamentGuest wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 10:45 am Marketed as AAA then they allow majority of teams to be made of A and B players. Complete joke and money grab. What tops it off is the very obvious allowance to have 1 or 2 teams to hand pick their players of all AAA buddies and go crush the rest of the random A teams. Shameless![]()
If you have someone good enough to be drafted, you are not worrying about doing these tournaments. Your boy is in the gym, sleeping well, eating right and doing some power skating sessions to help the development of fundamentals.
In saying that, Ill never bash anyone who provides a cool concept for kids to have fun and enjoy the game. Everyone just needs to understand what these really are.
