Meh, most people would chose the NCAA D1 path as their post "minor hockey" option. Major Jr., it's excellent, has a longer history and is established. They pale in comparison to the resources available to the NCAA players. It's not even close.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 10:28 amCanadian born goalies with Rings in the past 9 Stanley Cup Championships: 7Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 10:19 am Point leader Russian, Goal leader American, best goalie Russian, in fact top 30 goalies all are not from Canada.

Canadians play for a Cup, and are clutch af.... the rest of the World plays for pay cheques.
Try harder.
Then there's the education while you play. Then there's the overall experience. As much as Major Jr. is a Canadian institution, NCAA D1 all the way. And I say this as a dad of someone who's son will chose the Major Jr. route, should it be in the cards, as he wants to work in the trades-yes he has the marks to go to university, but doesn't want that career.
