Wow. I don’t recall ever seeing so much hype for 2 players coming down to A. They are both very good players and should make FH better.

How good were they in their respective AA teams?

FH finished 4th in 23/24 and 6th in 24/25 with 9 fewer points. Their real stud moved up after 23/24 to AAA. Goals per game down slightly but goals against year over year up by almost a full goal. Losing their best D to injury for part of the season can account for some of that increase.

LF finished 7th in 23/24 and didn’t make playoffs in 24/25. Pretty much same point total. Said player joined in 24/25. Goals per game up .5 per game.

It’s a team sport - stronger players make a team better if they are team players. The complementary pieces also have to be in place too.

I’m sure FH will be one of the top teams but a lot of the top teams added AA players too. It will make for an interesting season.

That appears to be the most realistic forecast for next year
Fake news. FH will need more than just individual talent. In the moments that matter they've consistently crumbled season after season, as a matter of fact have they ever won anything except for the odd away tournament? Too much turnover/cuts and coaches kid is too small for A hockey. Yes they'll likely be top 3 but they're not going to win it all.
I wouldn't classify former Leaside or FH AA players as the best in AA
Even is FH makes it all the way this year the Eagles will shut them down just like years before. One player doesn't make a team and FH has a lot of weakness on their team. Some small, some not so skilled, some very skilled. Not well rounded at all. and their best player from what ive heard doesn't like to pass.
Are you saying there new best player won’t pass or there old best player from last year does not play pass.

Eagles are done, lost kids. It's U16A, kids don't care as much as before, got other things to do.

Should also be noted that WH lost to NYK 3-2.
WH lost twice to VRE and it wasn't even close.
Suggesting WH will be a top team because they beat TR is objectively hilarious.
TRT had multiple AA callups for this tournament - this was far from their regular team so they should pump the breaks here.
Wait, weren’t the plebes on here not long ago arguing A players had a higher hockey IQ, AA players wont make a difference in the loop next year, etc?🤣🤣🤣
Everyone's made the position very clear - AA kids, especially if cut, would barely make an A team and the only difference between A and AA in general is contact. Skill level is the same, they swear, and if you think about it they do allow some contact in A, so really it's all the same.

Until you play against a team that has AA call-ups. Then it has to be noted the opposition had AA players and was sandbagging.
If you can’t see that AA players are much better skaters than A players you should get your eyes checked. That’s the glaring difference between the 2 levels.

TR tied Avs

TR beat HVS West A

TR lost to WH (with new addidtions)

Safe to say West Hill will be a top team
