Would you not trade a trip to Europe for an opportunity to play in the Brick? You are absolutely nuts. You can go to Europe any year .. the Brick is a once in a lifetime and sets your kid up for life.

Why do Brick parents feel like they need to justify their life decisions by trying to convince everyone that $20k "investment" was a good idea? Enjoy your tacky air force ones and leave the rest of us alone.

We are talking about the Brick. The Brick ! People are choosing a week at Muskoka or a trip to Europe over the Brick ? Nuts! You can’t be serious. You have a chance to be apart of the Best and you pass ? Best players, Best people, Best competition, Best growth potential for your kid! To be the Best you need to be around and beat the Best. Parents don’t get it.

It is going to be a great week in Toronto when the psycho parents are out of town. What matters is whether or not your kid is a good person, takes accountability for their actions, and well-rounded with sports, music, languages and academics. Enjoy the tournament, truly.

You aren’t choosing anything over the Brick. Your kid didn’t make the team because he’s not good enough. If you’d admit that there would at least be some dignity in it.

She isn’t. And because we aren’t delusional she didn’t try to get on either.

And your kid will get the taste smacked out of his mouth by a 6 foot 200 lb 14 year old who’s currently playing football in the summer while you freeze your ass in Edmonton. But hey you can watch that smack down in your well worn Brick jacket so it’s not all bad news.
