Ajax/Pickering Raiders AAA, they are looking and it’s a pretty easy team to get on.
One of top U18 teams in Canada. They handle the G teams with ease.
Really? Okay I’ll call the coach tomorrow and see when they want to meet my kid and welcome him on the team

There are families where the dad is an ex NHLer and their kids don’t get drafted, what makes you think your kid is going to get drafted? Is he dominating his current level that he’s playing now? Is he a soft player with no physical presence on the ice. Keep hoping and wishing he makes it, you sound delusional.

Hi everyone, I’m not super familiar with hockey so I was hoping to get some insight from people who know more than I do.

During the playoffs, my son’s team got a penalty. He wasn’t the one who caused it, someone else on the team did but the coach specifically told my son to serve the penalty time. This really upset both him and me and I just don’t understand why he was the one singled out to go in the box when he wasn’t involved in the play.

Can anyone explain why a coach might do that? Is this a normal thing in hockey? I’m honestly considering asking for part of our money back because I feel like it was unfair. Would love to hear what others think.

They always pick the most valuable, important player to serve someone else’s penalty. It’s like the highest honour. Forget MVP, he’s MVB: Most Valuable Benchwarmer.

Any teams out there looking for a stud? Because I’ve got not one, but two Russian players staying with my family and let me tell you, these guys are absolute machines. I don’t know what they’re feeding them over there, but it’s working. They’re here for school, but honestly, they could teach a masterclass in hockey.

If your team needs a boost, these boys will bring the fire. Just don’t challenge them to a workout or a meal… you will lose.

Is it true that AAA only signs in September? Sounds pretty ridiculous, if they want a player why wouldn’t they sign them before that? Are you supposed to try out all summer with different teams?
