Most voluntarily and only a handful involuntarily. Thats a big red flag! I also heard that the team did 0 off ice or dryland last year and that the practices were 85% PP and PK. Coaching staff was physically unable to demo most drills at practice and attendance from staff at both games and practices was also a challenge. Makes you wonder what the CRC organization is doing to validate these paid staffs both in season and when choosing to bring coaches back for upcoming seasons.Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 05, 2025 11:40 pmYour new to DM & CRC so I get it your kid is getting his first shout at AAA. Talk to me January and we can have a drink and talk about how we both wished we didn't put our kids though a year with DM and CRCGuest wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 9:26 amThe Coach who didn't get the players he wanted was DM Pretty sad that he was offering kids FREE rides and still being turned down.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 11:42 pmYa. You know all the kids on another team and post it online? That's pretty pathetic. Must be a coach who didn't get the players he wanted. Boo hoo.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 8:42 pm Seen the CRC roster today and its going to be a long season They got the VK back up, No D and 1 decent forward The rest are just a bunch of AA kids They would be a middle of the pack G AA team
Well they posted their team on Instagram and they have 1 AAA player on their roster This team is going to get lit up like a Christmas tree.

Pretty sad that you troll a team and Instagram for 12/13 year olds that your son is not on. My kid is on that team and I'm proud of him. Trashing 12/13 year olds online makes you look like a goof.
100% there was no Dryland training and his practices consisted of maybe 5 different drills.
Coaching staff including DM missed many practices and games and tournaments why schedule a tournament that you as a head coach can't attend?
Towards the end of the season DM canceled a practice telling us the we owed the ice to another team but when you check live barn no one was on the ice. on another occasion less than an hour into our 90 min practice he was looking to end the practice When questioned by a player he stayed on for about another 15 mins then stopped the practice about 20 mins early
Early in the season DM had his son on the ice with the team and what a great role model he was telling a 12 year kid how he wanted to Not Allowed his mom.
As far as Credit River goes there are stories about the 2014 coach who went on the ice to confront a ref then challenged parents to fight and the 2011 coach had 4 players leave mid season They do have 3 great coaches in Kyle, Marco and Randy who I hope find a better org as they deserve it

I wish I knew this before I signed I spoke to a parent that played for Dwayne when he was coaching the Caledon Bombers who echoed the same thing I am reading here

He is - people have posted videos online showing how nuts this guy is yet crc is allowing him to come back next year. Avoid him at all costs.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 9:40 pmHe is a lunatic. The crc organization is a joke for keeping someone like this.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 8:51 pmit would be more fun to talk about the 2014 coach. for crc. the whole organization is a joke.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 6:41 pm By far the worst year for the 2012 CRC age group in the 3 years. But NEXT years team will be worse with open boarders they can't force anyone to stay.
Calling all BB and A players Here's your chance to play AAA.
Re: Credit River Capitals Hockey 2012 AAA (ON)
This team finished 5th out of 8 teams in what was basically a AA tournament. they had the weakest schedule and went 2-3 with their only 2 wins against the 2 teams that both went 0-4 They lost twice to a GTHL AA team
Re: Credit River Capitals Hockey 2012 AAA (ON)
I have said this for a long time now and it continues to play out. The top GTHL AA team would beat most of the bottom 5 AAA teams in OMHA. I’m pretty sure the two losses this weekend you are referring to were against the Toronto Capitals who were the top AA in the G last year so it tracks.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 4:28 pm This team finished 5th out of 8 teams in what was basically a AA tournament. they had the weakest schedule and went 2-3 with their only 2 wins against the 2 teams that both went 0-4 They lost twice to a GTHL AA team
The good news is it’s only spring hockey so hopefully DM and crew will learn from last years mistakes and do a lot more development etc
Re: Credit River Capitals Hockey 2012 AAA (ON)
It was the GT Caps who beat them twice. Was talking to someone who was at the game and was told it was typical DM team 5 minute shifts and double shifting 1 or 2 players to the point they no longer are skating unless they have the puckGuest wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 4:28 pm This team finished 5th out of 8 teams in what was basically a AA tournament. they had the weakest schedule and went 2-3 with their only 2 wins against the 2 teams that both went 0-4 They lost twice to a GTHL AA team

Gt caps, beast, Ted Reeve are great AA teams. Congrats to their success. Credit River Caps will play AAA teams all next year and that's great... Afore mentioned AA teams will have at least 20 reg season games against Rattlers, avs, tigers, eagles, and a few other A/select teams this coming year. It flows "downhill" smarty pants.Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 9:54 amIt was the GT Caps who beat them twice. Re: Credit River Capitals Hockey 2012 AAA (ON)
Playing AAA teams is great if your competitive chasing games and getting blown out all year is not fun and provides no development and will ruin many of the kids confidence. Look at Credit River, Markham Majors, Reps, etc There is a reason why those teams repat the same cycle every year at all age groups. New group of AA kids come in and most of the old kids go back to AA.Guest wrote: ↑Sat May 31, 2025 12:28 amGt caps, beast, Ted Reeve are great AA teams. Congrats to their success. There is no reason any AA team should beat a AAA team

I remember last summer when I joined CRC and thought the same way as you Now we are back in AA wishing we stayed here last yearGuest wrote: ↑Sat May 31, 2025 12:28 amGt caps, beast, Ted Reeve are great AA teams.
