Toronto is stupid to begin with...I sure as heck would not be paying $8k for U9 hockey.

AAA U10 outside of Toronto = $5.5k-$8k
I heard there are organizations also find excuse to add charge after season start. Ask for another 3-4k on top and make it 10k+ in total. Basically you cannot say no after season start

Guest wrote: Wed Apr 30, 2025 10:57 am Klever a joke. You guys lining the pockets of Versteeg and unqualified coaches. Lol. In what world are parents paying 7-12k for 7 year old hockey? Most of these kids will be mid by age 12 with obviously a few exceptions
I dont know how many people are paying 7-12k for KSL.

We just aged out, and we spent two years there. Both years were around $3500, still not cheap - but our local MD team after all their fees ended up at $3100 so, meh, not a big deal.

I also wouldn't pay that much money for U7, U8 hockey. And very likely wouldn't for U9 either. We aren't paying anywhere even close to that with AAA hockey in U10.

So, I challenge if those are real $$$ I can buy $5k or $6k, but 7-12? for what? Why?
Do not know which region you are playing, maybe like Barrie or other outside GTA teams can be cheaper due to lower ice price. Most GTA teams are around 6k-9k range. I know couple parents paid 10k+ (include everything) for older age group. Some organization will add items on budget after season start, figure skating etc. cost another ~2K. but it depends.
Top Toronto team is $10K at U7 Klevr.
That's more than AAA in the GTHL. You guys are nuts to pay that for diaper hockey.

Wow, a page was created for 7 year olds! Come back when your kids are U14 at a minimum, nothing matters until then.

Bulldogs elite and pro hockey elite had the best 2018s this weekend at Bauer shoot. Young kings brought in 2017s to the finals against pro hockey lol but some good talent out there but pro and bulldogs had good quality of kids. Kings too expect for the 17s they brought down
