Ice time has already been determined and all the new kids will get a huge chunk. Get out while you can. CC was very smart to leave. It’s U16 year and players need to get their ice. I don’t think the poster is too far off. A lot of the moves this year is to ensure that your player gets the ice he needs to be seen by scouts. Having certain polarizing players (or dads) come to your team may mean less ice and exposure. Some are worried about parent coaches, money play and parents that control a team and therefore leave. Basic truth. The poster just didn’t eloquently messaged it.

I don’t think CC had planned on leaving until MS made those changes. VK is not crumbling but I do agree ice time has been pre-negotiated. Obviously this was part of the reason CC made the decision to move. Too bad as he was one of their better players. If a few more VK players leave, then the question has to be asked - was it all worth it MS?

That’s what happens when you play on a weak team and star then play on manufactured spring mega teams . You don’t expect competition. And then when it happens you run .
