Guest wrote: Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:33 pm Before you all start scratching your heads about the questionable draft picks, just know that the last few rounds are all friends, family and MONEY!! It’s well known, been like this for years
And don’t come on here and say your kid “skipped” this draft year by choice. He didn’t make aaa for a reason, wasn’t skipped, he didn’t make it. There’s a difference.
Not sure if everyone else’s phones are broken or what? This kid was eating pizza in the parking lot before practices like a year ago and now he’s hearing his name on draft day? Unreal.

Y’all been gassing up your academy kids for YEARS, and meanwhile this absolute beauty from the local AA loop just pulled the biggest uno reverse on all your AAA politics.

Kid’s edgework looks like he’s skating on clouds, shot is a laser, and he plays with more heart than half the AAA GTHL kids combined. Guess it turns out you don’t need $15k a year, private school, four private skills coaches when you’ve got raw DOG in your game.

Some of your kids were busy playing Fortnite while this guy was out there toe-dragging defenders into early retirement on City owned ice.

But nah, keep sleeping. Just don’t act surprised when he’s lighting it up in the O, then NCAA while your “D1-committed” kid is on a beer league roster in ASHL.

You forgot to mention that it never hurts to be very closely connected to a former NHL player with OHL connections.

1000% truth looks like a couple of those especially the last 25 kids taken. Really means nothing anyway. Reality will set in quick.

Now you’re talking, bro! Those are the connections you NEED. If scouts haven’t noticed your kid by now, I’d suggest NOT holding your breath that they are going to come knocking. People are setting their kids up for disappointment.

Parents crying a AA player got drafted are embarrassing you are the problem. That kid isn’t gonna play in the Ohl same with 200+ drafted. Wake up hockey is not life it’s an activity. If that kid and 50 others weren’t picked your kid still wouldn’t be picked he’s apart of the bubble. Your not better then anyone all these years because you played AAA or now because you say my kid was drafted 14th round 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
