Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 11:28 amEthan Glavin that has to be a joke. Not even top 2 D on that teamGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 10:24 am I guess in the end when the people who make the decisions on who to pick where to help their teams they would likely talk to the coach, maybe a guy who has some experience as an NHL scout, maybe a guy who is an asst GM in the OHL (and also scouts for Hockey Canada) is watching at games and tournaments .....and they just don't see the value in adding a player in the first 7 or so rounds.
I always feel sorry for 98% of the kids because often they do the best they can.
I feel sorry for about a small % of the parents who just wrote the cheque, drove to the game and stood alone/small group and cheered.
I feel zero sympathy for someone who tried to outsmart the system only to get him and his kid exposed to blowback.
I am sure where ever players like this land at the end of their journey they will have a number of Jr B or C jerseys to look at
There wasn’t 1 good Dman on that team.
Re: 2009 Alliance
Wonder if Mark Glavin, the Director of Hockey Administration of the Sarnia Sting had anything to do with it.
Re: 2009 Alliance
That is so embarrassing. Nothing to be proud of there.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 10:22 pm Wonder if Mark Glavin, the Director of Hockey Administration of the Sarnia Sting had anything to do with it.
Re: 2009 Alliance
Because they had one of then best players in the draft and 2 other kids with parents/family members in and around the “business”.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 13, 2025 8:31 am How did Sarnia Jr. Sting get three players drafted and Kitchener one?
