Jersey numbers?
Exactly! All bullshit! Sound like every team that didnt win Redhats retooling. Change 3 to 4 F, 1 G and 2D , ummmm also refered to has 3rd line.
Hahaha you CRC guys, always want to be on the treadmill… can’t possibly need to make serious change to give yourselves a chance… make it to OMHA but don’t play on Sundays lol… at least the other teams acknowledge things have to change… all you guys say is “must only be the 3rd line because our top 2 lines are infallible” lol…

The parents must be real successful in life, no wonder they live vicariously through their kids
The issue is its the bottom lines that hold the team up, replace them with similar players and keep inflating the egos of top line and they do nothing when it matters. The players who can do something are forced to watch!

Oh man the new roster is going to be a laugh to watch. RS thinks hes putting together a super team and will just create more turmoil and drama. Be prepared to watch selfish hockey at its best. CRC8 experiment should have been a wake up call. Good luck boys, only reason you will be at the OHL cup is if you get an invite

So you were either cut or not asked to attend tryouts. Sourpuss!

..... Crc need to get rid of the men on the bench to take the next step. They can’t get over the hump because the coach over plays his favorites and has an antiquated system that doesn’t fly when playing teams outside the loop. They have gotten worse every season since RS took over. It’s the same plan OR follows: a slow trip to the bottom.
Have fun in Markham this weekend. Wait, never mind. Enjoy the Canlan tournament.

There is way too much shit gets spewed on here that never gets challenged. Two different things can be correct at the same time. It is absolute BS to say that CRC, formerly B45s, got worse every year since RS took over. When he took over the 2010 group of Brampton 45s, they had won less than 5 games in a season and were a last or second last place team that needed some players and some coaching structure. RS brought in both, such that the newly founded CRC became the best team in the West for 3 straight years. Give the coach credit where credit is due! Has Barrie been tops in the East for 3 straight years yet? It is also true that since getting to the top in the West, RS has not taken them any further, and neither his roster tinkering nor his old school defensive coaching style have helped. That does not make him a rotten coach. He does struggle to score goals against good teams, and has not gotten the most out of his players, be they the "stars" or the supporting staff. Lots of kids and parents would be happy to trade their last 4 years for the CRC/45 last 4.
Spring hopes eternal. In a month, next year's rosters will be set and we will see what happens in the "big" year. Don't be surprised if CRC is tops in the West again. I would bet against that, but I might lose my money! Meantime, relax, talk more hockey and less BS on here and life will be good. BTW, where does all the personal angst on here come from?

Well said. The sloths and the Golems who need their anonymity to spew their hate, idiocy and ignorance need to go back under their rocks. Not sure why they need a hockey forum to do that. Must be many more appropriate platforms on the dark web for you. Stay in your mom’s basement and play a video game or something. This forum is for hockey. Try decency. You might find you like it.

Right RS has made the team worse every year since it became CRC. The 45’s were worse. His tinkering and outdated hockey have held the team back. Ya they won the West 3 times but what does that mean? They can’t beat teams in the top 20 in Ontario. They couldn’t make it to the playoffs at the OMHA’s and there will be no AAA Championships.
If the coaching staff, parents or players see this year as an improvement then they should wake up and face reality. Just a bunch of wannabes.

Watching the East and G teams play, I would say that they play a more skilled and fast paced game. Much more passing and puck movement, less kids trying to rush everyone… more emphasis on possession. The West plays more physical in general, more “old school”.

I wonder if the West coaches adapt and try something different… either in how the build / restructure their teams or the systems they use.

I hope our league can take a step forward… some really good kids in the G and a handful in the East, but it’s not like they are all *that* much better, their brand of hockey just seems to be more productive.

If we can put all the bitching aside, I hope everyone has a good tryout, that we all can rinse last season, and make have our teams better in this important year.

lol you’re either a coach or parent of a “top player” with CRC. The team was brought to a point, RS did a great job of taking them out of the basement. The problem is, once they were out, he didn’t know what to do to go further. The issue isn’t the players, they tend to do what they are asked to do. At the end of the day, the coach is the one making the calls, the one who puts the kids on the ice. Unfortunately he gets outcoached during big games and that won’t change next season.

The reason why other teams in the East or GTHL are successful against CRC is cause they play 6 F and 4 D while CRC is rolling 9 and 6. Barrie had 2 D and 2 F that didn't see the ice every 3rd shift. Certain kids went out every 5th of 6th shift. So if you consider that being outcoached then yes he was outcoached. But Barrie COW and most G teams are constantly retooling and changing out massive pieces. RS has managed to keep his core for the entire run. Some.may consider that great coaching.

Haha coach plays 5 kids and it clearly doesn’t work. There is no rolling of lines, sorry dad. The reason we came out with wins against you was because we knew to tire out 1 line and the rest weren’t a problem
