Agreed, and it’s very telling looking at the Ontario rankings. The top 4 west teams are in the top 10 provincially. There are no east teams in the top 10. The mid pack west teams, HV and MT, bookend the #1 east team NYK, HV slightly above and MT slightly below. I am always baffled at this spread between the west and east. What are some theories why this is?

And does this correlate with why most of the AAA teams are concentrated in the west?

Better organizations. More competition.

What coach allows their players to go on vacations during playoffs? In my opinion that’s ride the pine for the rest of the season.
