I guess you have not been around minor hockey for long

It wont fix kids that are bad skaters but those that work hard and now can hit will gain more space and time

What some parents think are good kids will no longer be good kids. Many of them will be too scared to go into the corners or get crushed trying their toe drags. Their is a reason why coaches look for BIG kids. Look at the size of the average AAA team and the size of the average AA team and you will see the difference
100%. I know from my older boy that all it takes is one big hit to decide it isn’t for you. Deny all you want the game changes and unless you’re incredibly fast size definitely matters.
agreed. gotta have some size. but more importantly kid has to want to play true hockey. a lot of it is without the puck or 50/50 at best. already see some regression in kids who were once impactful.
There's always regression in the top kids as other kids catch up and those with bad coaches don't rid the bad habits.

This is the time that those kids that like to carry the puck and not pass learn the hard way what hockey is about. The good ones will adjust and the others will fade away or drop levels to no hitting
My Friend who played very high level and has coached and trained at various levels says When hitting starts the vowels start to drop from players names.
You and your friend are the dumbest people alive. Practically every name has a vowel unless you named your kid Mr. T.
The way I read what he’s saying is the more ethnic names drop away.

Just because you can't skate, Your kid barely makes AA, Your Wife(or Boyfriend) is fat and ugly and your life is miserable doesn't mean you should call people names.

But since your slow and don't get it I won't waste my time trying to explain it to you

causal racism. bro thinks by posting this type of old school thinking that it will deter non whites. worry about your own uncoordinated camel on skates before you feel the need to post this non sense. game is growing globally whether you like it or not. what does your buddy do now btw?

Europeans are not white? Just because you have a victim mentality does not mean everyone does.

I think most people understood what was implied. Still a dumb and outdated take considering most of these kids are 2nd generation Canadian regardless of their ethnicity.
