2009 GTHL AAA
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
8R 81 from TT is not a top prospect. Pretty obvious but more so lastnight

By stating that you just confirmed that he is so is a compliment. Yet another jealous parent. Enjoy the last few weeks of your kids minor hockey, loser.

1. TRW CR - 0 goals allowed solid game
2. TT OL - other than the blunder stopped a lot of good chances
3. DMF NL - Some decent saves probably wants those 2 minutes back.
4. JRC LK - Things came fast and furious. Not sure if coming in cold was the reason but 5 goals against isn’t good.
OL...always seemed to be a lot of net showing...looked small.
The other 2?...just had off nights, I guess.

Again GTHL helping those in need, I.e. DMF players and coach. Give Blue team a weak goalie and 2 weak D.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 3:12 pmGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:52 amI felt as though the 2 Rebel D were struggling. MF hadn't made the playoffs in a while. Those two d were out of place. How does this happenGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:52 amI felt as though the 2 Rebel D were struggling. Its tought to think that kids were left off because MF pulled strings to get his son in. So sadGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 11:06 amGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:52 amI felt as though the 2 Rebel D were struggling. GTHL was great to show politics, and nepotism in top prospects game

Hockey Canada and the GTHL should be ashamed of the way they handle player selection, as their decisions often prioritize politics and connections over true talent. Leaving elite players like Michael Misa and Zayne Parekh off the U20 roster while including weaker selections from the GTHL for top prospects gameis just another example of how the system is failing young athletes. These organizations should be focused on fairness and development, yet they continue to make choices that undermine the integrity of Canadian hockey.
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
It's preposterous to think ppl would have you believe that politics had nothing to do with some of those picks. Or more so that the politics on the players team that puts them in a much more advantageous position than others to get that extra notoriety .Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 3:56 pmGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 3:40 pmIts tought to think that kids were left off because MF pulled strings to get his son in. U16 in the GTHL is sadly all money and promises with some actual high end talent mixed in.
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
Did I miss something here because in all my years I don’t remember HC having anything to do with the selection process for the prospects game. Bit of a stretch to point at them when PK from the GTHL is the individual running this event.
