Typically these coaches do that because they are too lazy to have good discussions with players before the game and get them to buy into playing a role. They just want to show up and do the minimum amount of work. What coach in our age group do you think is the worst for this?

What do you realistically do if you a low to bottom end team: Reps, Majors, Sens, Red Wings, Titans, Nats?

There is only a certain amount of 2012 kids that can play AAA hockey. Just because borders are open, it doesn't mean kids outside the GTA all of a sudden are better options. Yes there will be top kids from Hamilton, Milton, Oakville, Ajax/Pickering, Whitby but you won't be able to upgrade talent to where you'll be competitive with the top 6.

Sens, Red Wings, Titans and Nats are already competitive with the Top 6. Being competitive to me is being able to stay close in most games and maybe squeaking out a couple of wins against them over the course of the season.

TRW has beaten DMF and Marlies and tied Rebels. Nats have beaten VK twice and tied DMF and Rebels. TT has beaten Rebels twice and tied DMF. Sens have tied the Marlies and Rebels.

Unlikely that they will pass the Top 6 teams in the standings next year, but they will give them competitive games just like this year.

Well the guy makes good points. Coaches that do that kill creativity and steal the kids ability to react constantly to changing situations that happen fast on the ice... every good coach knows that. If a coach does that too much they are stupid.

Confirmed. NYR, JRC. My guess is DMF and TM grab the other 2. MR/VK/TM have toughest remaining schedule.
MR is the better team of the VK TM and DMF group. I don't think they have the speed to compete with JRC or NYR.
Ok ij or CT’s mom or dad. Any team between 1-6 can win or lose any night so don’t think you are the cats meow over there. You’re sitting in 6th but still arrogant
Ok the VK dwarf is upset again. It's neither any of them as you accuse but I do know why you would think that, because of your own very big mouth, It's all over live barn for anyone to see how you act and speak believe me everyone knows how toxic you are and sees it themselves, it's certainly nothing new or earth shattering news as everyone knows you are a fool. All good keep being you we laugh about you every time we see you thanks for that.

Interesting take since the only team in that group they've won against is VK

I hear lots of changes are happening on TM and VK. Many of those kids are calling around. VK goalies are sick and tired of the team and the toxic dressing room is becoming too much for some others. TM the new coach is an absentee landlord and is cleaning house and all those midgets are gone something like 9 kids gone. Both these teams will be worse off next year. BOOK IT. It's funny how these coaches don't learn how to develop the kids they have and lose kids every year and just replace like a revolving door. Great coaching and training NOT. Development is non existent in the G and it's a sad story and broken beyond belief. The simple fact is there are not a lot of talented kids to fill spots to magically become a top team.

... you do realize that this age group has some of the most stacked benches u10-18 right? JRC, NYR, VK,
MR, ex pro's, with a high end skills coach..
you are upset that junior has his dads genes, unathletic and dumb. It pains you to hear that you are not being asked back to VK. reps/mm look like a good option next year!

Did someone just include the VK coaches in that jiberish? Let me guess the Everest team is coming in? High end skills coach? Who the hell is that? You make me laugh. VK coaching staff is nothing special they didn't play any high level and have done nothing accept convince a bunch of parents they are top notch and to pay 14k a year for their program. Now they're new program is to bring in a bunch on new kids. What happened to the buy in to the program that they all payed a premium for? OMG. vaffanculo
