wishful thinking. Its pretty much locked in aside from jets making some noise down there and will rise up. Below is my prediction for first round playoffs:
1. Rangers vs 8. Caps
2. Beast vs 7. Jets
3. Rattlers vs 6. Northstars
4. Eagles vs 5. Terriers
OMHA parent here looking at GTHL options now that borders are open. Can anyone provide advice on how to approach teams? Are we too late for AA skates? And finally, are most coach's paid? What are the average annual fees for a typical AA West team?

Probably not. They are close. They had opportunity to get points earlier in the season that they did not get.
They definitely play a more structured game but still too many individuals. Unfortunately too late now even if they fix that. Better to look to next season with an improved roster.

I heard something interesting the other day. VR team is moving up to AAA and taking over the NYR team.
They couldn’t be any worse.
They'd be ok, add a few pieces.
Problem is that is not true. They aren't moving up.
I just heard this from a friend. Not the entire team but a bunch are going to the Reps. They dominate the AA loop with the current group but not sure how they would fit into AAA teams. Plus some are small players

Won't go well. They're a great team because they play as a team. Not many superstars on the team.
If the whole team moved up and you changed out 3-4 of the weakest with decent AAA players they'd be OK.

More like 7 and they’d still struggle.
Outside of the top six in AAA, they all struggle. Look at the Rebels, who are considered “competitive”. They don’t have a winning record on the year, but are in a playoff position because the competition below them somehow all got weaker (already weak). Pretty sure they haven’t won a single game against any of the top teams (couple of lucky ties) and even got smashed 8-1 by Markham the other day.
