2009 GTHL AAA
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
Whoever in the Don Mills organization protecting the 2013 Head Coach from being removed from his position on the U12[Minor Peewee] AAA hockey team and allowing the payments from parents to the Head Coach and to the organization for him to remain in his position is a cancer to minor hockey, especially to the families of the East End Toronto, and are yet another black eye on the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

I know Michael Hollander, but not as a coach.
Sometimes these coaches carry unresolved frustrations or insecurities into their coaching, which can create a toxic environment for players and parents. Document specific issues & gather concrete examples of toxic behaviour, whether it’s poor communication, favouritism, or inappropriate treatment of players.
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
I agree with this statement. And at the forefront and a great example are Coaches yelling at these kids. It is a clear case of the coach carrying baggage for such behavior to exist. If your sons math teacher screamed at your son over an algebra mistake youd be at that school raising hell.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 9:04 amGuest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 10:14 pm Whoever in the Don Mills organization protecting the 2013 Head Coach from being removed from his position on the U12[Minor Peewee] AAA hockey team and allowing the payments from parents to the Head Coach and to the organization for him to remain in his position is a cancer to minor hockey, especially to the families of the East End Toronto, and are yet another black eye on the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

Good thing you added your 2 cents last year to get a great coach canned. Stay off the board idiot.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 9:59 amI agree with this statement. I played MTHL growing up I had coaches that yelled and coaches that didn’t yell. It wasn’t a problem back then why is it a problem for our kids now? I feel like the above poster is a kids mother… if so you get a pass.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 11:42 amGood thing you added your 2 cents last year to get a great coach canned. ive had my eye on this kid for years, watching him develop and grow. This kid has more grit, tenacity and resilianncy than 99% of the kids in this entire league. Hes a total throwback to when you couldnt even think about stepping on the ice in major junior without raw grit like he has.. now we just make up for the lack of it in our beta kids with money. scouts are tired of seeing it, organizations and team managemt are tired of having it and its time we start looking for players like BL because were going to have to lean on him to pull the weight and make up for your kids inadequacies. BTW, all the scouts are wise to whats going on, we know how many desperate attempts are being made at blocking his progress. frankly its becoming very obvious and very pathetic, and in a very short time the crow will be coming home to roost for most of you and your beta kids as they finally realize its over for you and just begining for him
Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
I watched it as well, without bias as I did'nt even know what the final call was. I watched it half dozen times with colleagues and when we were all told what the call was we simultaneously spit our coffee out.. sad and pathetic call by that official. This league is getting softer, and more corrupt by the hour. people calling that kid a head hunter, the only real head hunters seem to be these officialsGuest wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 11:44 am I watched the clip of the BL suspension. The reality is the kid is a first round draft pick. If parents can’t see that I don’t really know what to say. It should be obvious if you have any clue about hockeyGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 7:10 pmI watched it as well, without bias as I did'nt even know what the final call was. Re: 2009 GTHL AAA
This kid is a force to be reckoned with! He commands attention every time he is on the ice. Like it or not. He has all the intangibles to compete at the next level. Yes he takes undisciplined penalties but he also provides more grit than any other player in the G.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 7:26 pmThe reality is the kid is a first round draft pick.
