51 on TML is a total coward! Cross checked a kid in the face at the end of the game and skates away. Too afraid to face the music! Enjoy the loss!
You would never call 51 a coward if his dad was around. You ever see the size of that dude? Hes unhinged too. Crazy biker dude. Better just stay on here posting anonymously, believe me this guy scares all the parents on the team & even the coaches

For those who have been through a draft year before with older kids, did you see the same thing with selfish play that we're seeing this year? Is this normal?

There is a lot of really selfish play that's hurting teams, especially from D but also from forwards. They all want to keep the puck on their stick as long as they can. Seems like kids are trying to impress scouts but probably doing the opposite.

I’ve noticed some of this too, and I think it’s unfortunately common in a draft year when kids feel the pressure to stand out individually. It’s tough because while they’re trying to impress scouts, they’re forgetting that teamwork and smart play are what really get noticed. Scouts aren’t just looking for stats, they’re looking for hockey IQ, how players support their teammates, and how they handle pressure. Hopefully, coaches are addressing it and helping the players see the bigger picture. It’s a tough balance for these kids, especially with the pressure some parents put on them.

My kid tried out for AAA a few times and couldn’t make it. So what we do to make ourselves feel better is tell everyone the teams suck and the coaches are biased scammers only taking kids who’s parents paid them off. It helps us through our disappointment and emotional of never getting on a AAA team, we have invested so much money, time and energy into hockey.
