Could you elaborate?
Top 2017s are and will continue to be in Klevr. If NYHL actually wants to build, they need to start at U7 or they somehow need to punish players and coaches for being involved in Klevr right before GTHL - but they won’t do that either.
"Are and will continue to be in klevr" is a dumb comment. You have no clue who will be a top player at 11, 13, 15. You clearly have no older children and are basing this on no facts. There's no historical data to base this on. Klevr promotes AAA training and mentality at a younger age which obviously will result in more skill at young ages. Whether or not you klevr kids can stand the test of time is nowhere near proven. Half the 2015s will be burnt out in 2 years and they're already starting to fade. The skill gap closes. You can skate little Johnny 20 times a day but come u14 AAA (if he can hang on that long), that advantage will diminish and athleticism, IQ take over. Enjoy your little feeling that your kid is so amazing at 7-8. You all are a joke.

As a parent with older kids playing real AAA G hockey, I'll give you some advice, stay humble and don't be ignorant. Karma catches up.
2017s only have one more year of Klevr and so far the new elite NYHL teams have nobody…so for next year, the top 2017s (who are currently in Klevr) will continue to be in Klevr. No one is going back to NYHL at this point and no one is talking about whether the same kids will be top for U11-U16. But for right now and likely next year the top are going to be Klevr. Pretty sure the question was about who the top 2017s are right now and not who they will be in 5 years. I doubt anyone knows that, but if you do based on your extensive experience, please elaborate. Also, you think the kids that are amazing right now aren’t athletic or have no hockey iq? Sure…

I know at least 2-3 18’17 going back local from a tier 1, due to travel, larger role on a tier 1 / MD team, cost, Klevr is great but also about choice.
For pro Klevr, ask yourselves how many squads are true AAA feeder… I would say distro going back to AA or A will mirror that on a percent basis of the G sanctioned and MD programs

here's the latest "rumor" for this coming season for Hockey Canada players
HC will announce Dec 1 for all U9 leagues YHL will be 3/4 ice not full?
NT does not have board approval from their own association to enter NYHL maybe they will enter anyway...?
George Bell operating as an MD team within CDP this season has caused friction what will they do next year?
Ted Reeve Super Team is not entering the NYHL - they will continue as rouge, rumor?
klvr all day...

Is this so called ted reeve super team actually any good? They have any Elite players? What KSL tier would they compete in? Do they crush everyone in their CDS or NYHL loop?

Where do the GTA Aces teams stand for U9 and what levels are their players expected to end up in U10?

TR team good, their loop goes
Oakville MD
Ted Reeve

HVS
VR (not allowed coaches)
NT

Perhaps TR and Oakville compete but lose to TR, YK but likely edge out MR and NS (making this all up since they wont play!)

With the exception of maybe Oakville, TR and others have been playing predominately 3/4 ice so it would be unfair to compare. I would imagine that they don't have the depth as most T1 Klevr teams by virtue of being community hockey programs (many of which lost top players to Klevr) but that's not to say there aren't a group of talented kids that will end up in AAA.

They had 2-3 very strong players that should be a good core for U9. Assume that Aces will build around that for TT in U10.

Who is the "good core"? The kid that scored 70% of their goals I believe went to another Klevr team.

Interesting, thank you. And what about the GTA Aces Red? Didn't they beat GTA Aces Black in the recent Championship Weekend?

TR and these other teams hire private refs and play full ice games they just don't advertise bc it's breaking HC rules.

For those of us who's oldest child is just entering U10 AAA next year (2026-27) - what is the norm for OMHA AAA hockey --- do we try and reach out to the announced coach in Jan/Feb and express our interest/ask to attend ID skates? Do we just attend try-outs and hope for the best? I know I've read most AAA teams are selected before try-outs, just wondering if this rings true for U10 as well since it's the first year?

Will be coming from Klevr and likely son will be 3rd liner material if he makes it. (The home rink is minutes from our door-step though and we play in an area where there AA is a 40 minute drive and the alternative is only A in our area).
