Guest wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:45 pm Interesting weekend......Rats tie the Rangers, Terriers are in the semifinals for the Oakville winter classic, and Caps come dead last in the Aeros tournament.
You forgot the Eagles lost to Nicke City. Another year another failure for that organization. Time for another rebuild.
why are we acting like Nickel City isn’t a good team. They are big, fast, and move pucks around pretty well. For sure they are a top team in Ontario.
And so are the Eagles. #2 in the prov I think. It’s been years and they still can’t make it happen. More holes in that lineup than Swiss Cheese. Just saying.
My observation... Eagles play a dated game of hockey that gets easier to play against later in the season for good teams. The D are stay at home, not involved enough in the play. In turn there isn't enough movement from the team. They're good but they get found out and don't have enough extra to get those big wins.
Sounds like a coaching problem. And it will just get worse...

That doesn't sound like a complaint about Eagles but an observation. I'm not sure I agree with what he says but also can't argue that Eagles haven't won big games when they matter so maybe he's on to something.

Its going great. Ranked 2nd in Ontario and restructured out breakouts for the 2nd half of the season. Still working through but will be ready for playoffs

Who is making coaching changes for next season? MNS...anyone else? These paid coaches often jump around and we have a few in the loop. I could see a few dad coaches that have been around awhile are done with it as well.

It's going great. In a 3 way tie for third place in the West. Planning for an early playoff exit. Already booked the flights to Florida! Just like the last 4 years.

I heard Streetsville, Panthers, Northstars, Caps, Terriers, West Mall

Anyone heard anything else? Do we know who is taking over these teams?

I'm surprised west mall is on here. They have new coaches and did better than Dean who is struggling in A.
