All 4 semi-finalists had 3-4 AA+ players on their rosters committed to AA next year. VRE may have had a couple kids that play or played AAA too. Congrats to them for winning a summer tournament. All the coaches know what they are getting into when they sign up.

You clearly don't know what your talking about so let me fill you in. 1 Vaughan has a paid coach and there hasn't been a "coaches kid" on that VRE team since U14. Every player on that VRE spring team is on the actual team they had no super subs just really good committed players that just beat a good WH team. yes one of the coach's kid had a great tournament but it's only spring and no one will be this loose and this care free when it comes to the regular season and playoffs and since when does a kid having a good tournament make him a ringer lol. Your just salty that your kids got rocked by THE Vaughan Rangers East who had no AAA ringers and no AA ringers not once but twice. you can even go back and see the other games for VRE every player on that VRE team played games in the round robin and will be kicking your kids ass in the regular season just like they did in the spring. VRE recruited well got better and will be the new big dawg in the east next year Believe it. and btw I think VRE we're one of the only teams that actually had there full and real team unlike SIR and unlike the Avalanche and dare I say WH.

These are summer Canlan tournaments, congratulations to VRE for winning but lets pump the brakes on their world domination next season. If they improved with new players, that is fantastic. Lets not put too much weight into these tournaments as there is zero structure to how the teams play, kids ( regardless of level ) are hot dogging for the most part, but again, congratulations on the win.

Most teams had major adjustments from last year so there is no crystal ball to how the chips will fall next year, it is all hypothetical. I am sure all teams believe they have transformed into the beasts of the East, and when it is all said in done ( IN MARCH 2026 ), then said team can do their happy dance.

For now, go outside, enjoy landscaping, a cold beer and we can get back to ridiculing 16 year old kids in a few short months.

We already know. Top AA kid from FH moving to A - and I mean top from ALL of AA, not just his team. He will dominate the division. Scary part is he isn’t the only one joining the team. This kid wil eat SIR alive.

FH AA forward definitely one of top 2 kids on his team. All the top AA teams had 3 or 4 of his caliber type player so it’s a stretch to say he was the “top from ALL of AA”. He will certainly excel and make that team better. Best of luck to him.

No joke, FH drop down is an amazing athlete. Amazing hockey player, belongs in AAA. Been one of the most dominant AA players in the league since the start. He's got different priorities. Good for him. And good for us, as we'll see what a great player he'll be in the loop.

Fake news. FH will need more than just individual talent. In the moments that matter they've consistently crumbled season after season, as a matter of fact have they ever won anything except for the odd away tournament? Too much turnover/cuts and coaches kid is too small for A hockey. Yes they'll likely be top 3 but they're not going to win it all.
