Before you all start scratching your heads about the questionable draft picks, just know that the last few rounds are all friends, family and MONEY!! It’s well known, been like this for years

No. That kid on VP can do laps around most of those AAA players. Parents of AAA kids are salty that an AA stud is one step closer to the show. See you in Erie bud.

I LOVE it. His comparable is Matthew Knies, the kid can play and he has a great future. Let this be inspiration for all future AA kids out there. Then again, that VP franchise is built different. Year over year champions and consistently making cuts to get better.

How would anyone know how he compares to AAA players? He’s never made a AAA team, not even first line on a AA team

And don’t come on here and say your kid “skipped” this draft year by choice. He didn’t make aaa for a reason, wasn’t skipped, he didn’t make it. There’s a difference.

Vaughan Panthers kids drafted?

How, please tell me how a kid with zero AAA experience gets drafted?
So many great triple players and they chose this guy from double. My apologies to all the triple players. This is hard to swallow.

Not sure if everyone else’s phones are broken or what? This kid was eating pizza in the parking lot before practices like a year ago and now he’s hearing his name on draft day? Unreal.

Y’all been gassing up your academy kids for YEARS, and meanwhile this absolute beauty from the local AA loop just pulled the biggest uno reverse on all your AAA politics.

Kid’s edgework looks like he’s skating on clouds, shot is a laser, and he plays with more heart than half the AAA GTHL kids combined. Guess it turns out you don’t need $15k a year, private school, four private skills coaches when you’ve got raw DOG in your game.

Some of your kids were busy playing Fortnite while this guy was out there toe-dragging defenders into early retirement on City owned ice.

But nah, keep sleeping. Just don’t act surprised when he’s lighting it up in the O, then NCAA while your “D1-committed” kid is on a beer league roster in ASHL.

You forgot to mention that it never hurts to be very closely connected to a former NHL player with OHL connections.
