Who are expected to be the top teams for next season, and which teams will have the best coaches and development programs? Here are the current top teams for 2015 U10s :

GTHL AA East

North Toronto (17-6-0)
North York Knights (20-8-1)
Scarborough Ice Raiders (12-8-0)

GTHL AA West

Vaughan Panthers (16-0-0)
Mississauga North Stars (14-2-1)
Faustina Toros (12-8-3)

Tough to say who will be where until AAA skates are done.

West is usually stronger than east.

North Toronto is always strong in the east. Humber Valley and Vaughan will be the strongest in the west.

Who generally forms the core of NT U10 AA teams? U9 NT Red, Green or a combination? And who forms the NYK U10 AA teams?

NT U10 AA is mostly the NT Red team - minus 1 or 2 that go to AAA and the top NT Green kids.

Most of the original NT Red team goes to Klevr/Aces for U9 and then feed TT.

Many AA skates have already happened with coaches trying to get commitments early for their core, although it seems AA coaches are being a little more careful/less obvious than AAA teams about the bday skates taking place.

It seems like the AA loop will have some good teams and competitive hockey next season, especially in the West. Even better once people start coming to the realization that their kid is not ready for AAA and/or they don’t want them getting no minutes as a 3rd liner on a bottom team.
