Yes. Having done this with two boys, jr b or a is the way to go once 16 if you think your kid can handle playing against 20 yr olds. All midget orgs are in it for the money!

These people have no idea what they are talking about. Only go Junior if your kid is going to play. Junior teams are more in it for the money than U18 programs. It doesn't help anyone to be sitting on the bench all game. Rule of thumb - have your son/daughter play the highest level possible as long as they play.

100% lol other answers are trolling. Only so many Jr spots to go around for 16 year olds. U18 is good hockey, enjoy the extra few years.

If you don’t get drafted in the top 4 rounds go and play U18AAA. You’ll thank me.
