Should NHL provide live mic games?

I don’t know about anyone else but I am finding the over commentating on pro sports to get annoying.
Anyone else wish the NHL would provide a live mics broadcast without a play by play and colour commentator? I would find the player chirps and live noise from the game more compelling than some of the gibberish out there now.
They can analyze during the intermissions.
