LJK U14AAA
Re: LJK U14AAA
Right, 2 would be definite upgrades but a few others are totally interchangeable and likely more skilled players than some of those big kids they took

All the skilled players left London years ago!Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:54 pm Right, 2 would be definite upgrades but a few others are totally interchangeable and likely more skilled players than some of those big kids they took
Re: LJK U14AAA
The coach switched him to a forward and he looks like a totally different player. He would probably be one of the top few forwards on that AAA team. There's a handful of kids on that green AA team that would make the AAA team better in 1-for-1 "trades", no blockbusters required. There's obviously a reason they are the top ranked AA team by a pretty big margin. When you take size over compete, skill, IQ, etc., what can you really expect? Some pretty obvious misses there.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:30 pmDidn't hear about the ice time request from the soccer coach...but sounds very believable! If he'd just leave his son to be coached properly I'm sure he'd be a good player. Love the guys that leverage those requests (we'll call it the Bruno Clause!) for their own gain and expect everyone else to pay the same $ and get less. Good on JB for tossing him...keep tearing up the 401 DE!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:11 pm Didn't DE's dad demand unlimited ice time? A good coach would tell the dad to pound salt, which JB did. Not exactly killing it in Chatham. HP was leaving on his dad's recommendation to get on a better team and he's no difference maker against good AAA kids. JB didn't chase anyone out of London. The pickings are slim. There might be 2 kids in AA who can make it, but that's it. London will have to recruit from outside if they want to improve the team. The main issue as I see it will be coaching.
HP is definitely above average but it seems that team has had its challenges as a whole this season. Maybe a few blockbuster trades are in the mix!? LMAO.
What AA players are doing well this season? I've heard the MW kid that left SS last season is making a push!
Re: LJK U14AAA
We talking about LL and DE last year? Other than that none of the "skilled" players have gone anywhere.
Re: LJK U14AAA
It's so obvious what needs to be done. Get a good non-parent coach.
Replace the following players:
TB
LT
JM
WS
HG
GL
CH

Over 50% of team?? That makes no sense. Though I do agree in a fewGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 12:25 pm It's so obvious what needs to be done. Get a good non-parent coach.

How many of you commented on how concerning the Brantford story is, while bullying children, volunteers and other team’s families on MHT?
I hope this is the next place they start to investigate.
Comparing AA to AAA is like comparing apples to oranges. Game is completely different. Of course kids are interchangeable, at all levels. Most AAA kids moving down gain confidence and thrive while AA kids moving up often struggle. This is basic hockey knowledge.
You’ve created more threads for one LJK age group than all Alliance teams and ages combined. Maybe even Ontario outside the G. Possibly including the G.
