Don't waste your money on the Brick...!!! you have been warned !
Best minor hockey experience available! Period
Let’s say you don’t have $10k-15k to drop on brick and/or your kid is solidly developing but not yet “elite.” What other good tournaments are out there that will be a memorable experience to help the kid grow/develop?
There are not any other tournaments with a memorable experience like the Brick. It is like comparing Whistler to Earl Bails for skiing, like comparing Pebble Beach to a Mini Putt for golf, the Super Bowl to a CFL exhibition game. The Brick is in a class of its own and no other tournament like the Brick will follow you for a lifetime. You will always be a 'Brick' kid .. with that is a level of entitlement and deals to reduce skates/team fees/camps/trainers etc. The $10K-$15K has an immediate ROI.
That's not true. It's a very memorable experience but I can name a few that are better because your little johnny needs stay in front of the pack which a lot of you will live through seeing other non-brick kids pass little johnny. The couple that come to mind are U14 OHL cup, U16 OHL Cup, U16 Silver stick. May not have the same experience but you want to be there when the time comes.
The biggest tournament in the world that is the start to real hockey is the Quebec pee wee tournament, of you think otherwise you're an idiot.

World wide exposure, winter teams , not these make belief spring programs that promote diaper hockey

A tournament that your kid will never see.

What’s the difference between the HHOF tournament and the brick? Do winning teams from HHOF eventually go on to the brick?

Guido - get off your computer for 5 minutes, please.

You wish you were Italian bro, then maybe you’d have some athleticism, work ethic, style and class.

“Brick kids” can’t even beat one of the weakest teams in the G!

That is BS. Never have I been to a game and not been able to spit a ‘Brick’ kid. Clearly game revolves around them.

Because that team is awesome and they probably could have taken the entire team, but politics
Any forward will be last to 34 anyways.
BD doesn’t even need a team 34 will carry the whole team alone into the finals and win the brick for the first time for ML and GL.

Truth. The atmosphere in the mall is absolutely insane. I have seen it. Haters are going to hate but when there is a fly by around the glass after scoring a goal.... you will realize what an insane experience it is. Two stories of hockey fans watching. Random mall shoppers cheering on a play. Nuts. Literally nuts.

This is the intelligence of a Brick parent comparing a mall to the gardens and the gardens was built in 1932.

The mall rink sucks, blinded by the sun half the day but good tournament. Too bad the Toronto teams turned it into a “for-profit” business. They don’t have a chance against Boston this year. Too many good kids on the sidelines.
