I hope you don't have a daughter

This is so sad for all that are involved.
I believe every case/accusation should be investigated but what if they are not guilty ...what next for them?

Unfortunately I think we all know how stuff like this ends, does a NHL team take the chance and sign these kids and take the backlash that comes with it? I doubt it. Stuff like this follows you wherever you go.

Maybe some of these parents and support groups should reflect on how much time they spent telling their kids they were elite and how much time they spent reminding them they're still normal people who should treat other people with basic levels of decency and respect. I'll go ahead and guess the ratio was not what it should have been.

It gets very hard to defend hockey culture when people like you are in it.
Victim shaming is a legit problem and the language in that post is inappropriate. However, in this case there was a consent video. They actually have a cell phone video with the “victim” saying that she wants to sleep with them. Apparently you can’t give consent when you are drunk so HC paid her a ton of money out of my 3 kids hockey fees to go away. Then “me too” happened and they reopened the investigation.

If that is the case there are thousands of assaults in canada every weekend. How many of the hockey players were drunk? Did they give their consent?

She and lawyers got their payday. The woke culture got to feel righteous, chips got to feel important and the media got their story. This was what it was all about. Just like the duke lacrosse team.

You are a failure!
On every level!
These players have had their careers ruined before their day in court. What if they are indeed innocent?

Are you serious? Literally NO ONE would laugh at this, if that's what you're after. Like, do you have a mother? A sister? Do you even know a female? If yes, I don't even know what to say. I feel sorry for them, you must treat them great. Your dad (if you have one) must be very proud....he's probably a douche too
Looks like the truth is catching up to this little wh0re

It will be interesting to hear what the ruling will be as to ‘consent’, with respect to how it was interpreted. …as for the character of these individuals, whether they are found guilty or not, their behaviour was shameful & disgusting. They might have been successful hockey players, but unfortunately by the time they were 18-19yo, they had become failures in life, likely somewhat in part to the hockey jock culture they had been brought up in. That being said, someone like Crosby & countless others, are smart enough that they would never find themselves in those circumstances.
