Philly is never the place to be.
What was your main takeaway from this tournament?
What added benefit did your child achieve?
Played against some of the best 2010s on the planet. Played with some old friends met some new ones. Played against European teams. Had beer and some laughs with a great parent group. Great experience all around. My kid had a blast. US teams and development is next level. Some US teams play together most of the year which is an advantage. But all and all it showed me my kid is right where he needs to be competing at the highest level and contributing against the best. Hope that answered your question. Need and want are two very different things.
Fun time zero impact on winter
Just like Nashville was the place to be last year
see you at the titans tournament when it really matters
News flash none of it matters. Only in your head it matters. Never understood guys like you who are so concerned about what others do. But good luck at the titans tournament.
Titans tourney doesn’t matter either. None of it does. The scouts already know who they want. They’re just looking at who to fill in rounds 10-15, aka the ASHL rounds you plugs
This is all a nonsense. Have had 3 boys go through hockey as did I until 16. And for context, not to brag, became an Olympic athlete at 21.
The state of hockey development is beyond broken , and picking kids at 15 for a draft is completely idiotic.
At this point , the best strategy is picking the program that will do the least amount of damage, that is how bad hockey dev is! Have only ever seen 1 program this is good.
You crazy obsessive hockey dads are all raising the next Carter Harts and Michael McLeods out there. All pigs like their parents. Just go to the rink, shut your yap and watch hockey. The draft means crap, unless you like to brag about your son winning a free OHL hat

Lets all just face it, the Americans are all better than all our "G all-stars". Paying to get on a team only does so much!
Hard to argue with the first part of your comment. The Americans dominated on the ice and on the leaderboard. All US teams in the semis and I only see two G kids in the top 10. Yeesh.

Ontario Players were spread over 7 or 8 teams. Im sure if that was brought down to 2 or 3, we would have had a better showing.
