That speaks volumes in any facet of life. Heck you even have the U16 team that should be great but cant seem to do anything outside of the easy SCTA, they even have players leaving when asked to return. Just like politics you need to go with the person you hate the least. Sad reality
all the new U14 parents defending DM here have no clue what they are in for. ZERO returning players. ZERO.
When your kid has never played AAA and now gets his chance even if its going to be a shit show its hard not to give them their 1 year in AAA so I get that

But we can all sit back next year and talk about how we should not have gone to CRC
My kid was with CRC. Coach gave away his position after committing to us. Turns out he took an envelope with $10g’s in it. The dad brags about it. This is what CRC is and why all their teams suck. I know others who this happened to as well.
Same thing happened to a kid I know, envelope given to the coach and that kids spot was gone. Money bag kid quit halfway through the year too

Sounds like the current U16 team, some very evident additions to that roster and some pretty hefty envelopes
Bingo. The coach is a grade A scumbag who doesn’t care if f’s over a 15 year old kid and leaves him with nowhere to go. Shameful organization!

Heard the same thing happened at U18. Kids decommitted to after tryouts and sizing. Does the Org have no control over their coaches? Should be of concern for a new organization trying to crawl out of the basement.

This is a losing mentality. Play at the highest level you can and you will develop faster if you choose to push yourself. The younger you can do it, the better. Its extremely difficult to break into AAA after U14. This is terrible advice.
the AAA teams at the bottom of the league tend to have poor coaching and AA quality players. These teams are not going to help your kid develop the right work ethic or habits

If you noticed i said play on the TOP AA teams not just AA

If this were true, and its not, you're still playing against top teams and gaining valuable experience you cant get in AA. Its a whole different level with a higher pace of development regardless of what level team you're on. Show me a single AA player that jumped up to a top tier AAA team, it doesn't happen. It also takes the months to catch up to the speed of the game.
Now keep in mind I am not talking about middle of the pack or even competitive AAA teams. Take for Example this years U13 CRC team. They got blown out by literally every team in the league including the bottom teams. Does that sound like an environment that will provide valuable experience?

the AAA teams ranked 30+ are really just AAA in name but AA in quality with the exception of maybe a couple of their top players

Also when I talk about TOP AA teams I refer to the top 10 teams in AA. All of whom would be equality as competitive as those 30+ ranked AAA teams

As far AA players moving to the TOP teams I am sure it happens (not often) but I am sure it does probably as much as the chance of a player on the bottom AAA team does of moving to the TOP teams. David Perron played AA at U15 and this year is his 20th in the NHL
Sounds like a Dad who's kid couldnt crack the U13 AAA roster this year
OR a Kid who went thorough 3 years of CRC AAA hockey and is in a better place now thanks to open boarders

When you have NO returning players not 1 that says a lot about the coach and the organization.
We were on this team last year I don't like to trash people so I won't but Good Luck you will need it.
