Are these allegations against a minor? Who did he allegedly assualt?
Heard he's taking a plea deal , only guilty people take those. Anyone who associates with this criminal should take a long look in the mirror. This is how David frost started out too.
But what's the plea deal? Is he pleading guilty to a lesser charge?

Why are you judging that only guilty people take those? Going to trial costs a lot of money. Not everyone is as rich as you.

Would be nice to know the details before we make comments or judgement.

heard from a few spring tournament organizers that Woody is being banned from entering teams in all tournaments or leagues going forward. If you play with this David Frost 2.0 maybe give your head a shake, stealing month, ripping people off and now sexual assault is just the tip of whats to come

If you take away the alleged sexual assault, you have pretty much described every spring hockey team, skills development camps and most rep associations.

Being a newbie to these boards, you start seeing the a lot of names being thrown around about ripping people off, taking money, over charging, etc, but these people are sitll in business. Are there serious allegations against these people or a few bad apples who are mad cuz their kids aren't good enough?

So you’re okay with 9- and 10-year-old children being insulted, called mentally handicapped, and subjected to other disgusting remarks—simply because they made a team? But you draw the line at comments and judgments directed toward a man who works closely with children and has been accused of a sexual offense?

Seriously—wow.

Same story, every year.
I am really happy to see the PHD and TBD teams continue to struggle against top teams. I took my kid to both tryouts and he’s on a top 4 team and performed well but didnot get picked. I was worried he would be missing out on something big so thought about making a few calls. I didn’t and now glad I didn’t. When they struggle I am happy because me kid isn’t missing out on much expect top tier practices that I am fixing with privates at Ford anyways. If those teams were doing well I’d struggle to see them win knowing my kid should b out there
Real future hockey players are out playing baseball and soccer right now, not chasing the fake-dream Brick tournament. They're all-around athletes, not rink rats burning out by 13. And no, they’re not doing endless privates at Ford either. They’re off the ice.

Sure, midget legends like Guido’s kid and SR look unstoppable at U10/U11 - until the AA Animal shows up at U15 and folds them like lawn chairs. You heard it here first.

– A scout.
Three killers of Brick burnout players dreams: hitting, high school and the AA animal who shows up in U14 with 5 inches and 50 lbs on them. It happens every year and those of us who have been around the block a few times know it all too well.

Big ass kids who started later and weren’t on ice 6 days a week and are playing football or soccer in June look clunky on the ice at U9 and then in 5 years they show up and it’s game over.

Scariest kid is the one you haven’t heard of. Bet.
Agreed with above, but there are also kids playing in the Brick or AAA that will grow to be 5 inches and 50 lbs on others that will even be that much better at U14 or 15. High School is a big factor, the path could lead to complete shut down in sports for a time. But I agree there will be a few that come out of the woodwork.
You’re right, some top kids in AAA now will stay top kids and turn out to be big and smart players.

I have just observed that the AA kids have a big advantage going into high school: their parents aren’t insane and they aren’t on the ice as much or wasting their summers on stupid tournaments all over the continent.

And AA kids lack skill, IQ and speed. Yes, some make it to AAA but very very rarely do they make it to AAA and rise to become a top player. There's maybe 2-4 kids that will in each age group.

No they don't have a big advantage. If it was such an advantage more kids would make the jump to AAA.

Let's back the truck up just a little bit here.

First, I know nothing about this person.

Second, I know nothing about how this person treats people, kids, and players

Third, I have never heard this persons name before this.

Fourth, all I know if that he has been charged with sexual assault. Zero details have been given.

Fifth, I believe the victims as it is very hard to come forward in these situations.

Who are the people that are commonly associated with this man? I know there's a D in Whitby whose dad is best buds with RW...last name also starts with W. There's JD, kid was with MM last year. ZL always played with him.

NR from DMF is always around Wood so is BP from the NATS , this guy has a hold of these people for whatever reason and if i am those parents i am not putting my kid and our family name near him at all

sexual assault on a minor , let that sink in and if you still associate with these type of people its only a matter of time until your name is tarnished too
