2013 Ontario AA - OHF Contenders
Re: 2013 Ontario AA - OHF Contenders
Hamilton Huskies
Heard they got a lot of kids trying out with open borders.
I think in general, most teams saw an increase in kids trying out so it's really up in the air to see where all these teams fall.

I also heard that they are not even playing AA.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 8:40 am Centre Wellington lost its top players and goalie
That leaves the door open for Hamilton Huskies to win the OMHAs now that they have left the Alliance.
Re: 2013 Ontario AA - OHF Contenders
How does the Huskies moving to OMHA mean they are immediately the best team? Every team in GTHL West is better then them
Re: 2013 Ontario AA - OHF Contenders
It doesn't - we are all just wildly speculating, lolGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 10:57 amHow does the Huskies moving to OMHA mean they are immediately the best team? Every team in GTHL West is better then them
With open borders, no one really know how any team in the OMHA is going to perform.
I know the Huskies had a lot of kids tryout from nearby centres and a lot of their team from last year has been replaced, which would indicate an improvement.

That sounds a lot like Oakville. Trying to replace their team with everyone elses players!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 11:34 amIt doesn't - we are all just wildly speculating, lolGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 10:57 amHow does the Huskies moving to OMHA mean they are immediately the best team? I'm sure there was some active recruiting but these organizations should be picking and icing the best team possible. Doesn't matter if they live around the corner from the rink or from 2 hours away. And it shouldn't matter if someone has been on the team for many years.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 12:01 pmThat sounds a lot like Oakville. While development and creating a positive environment is important, for a lot of people, it comes down to wins and loses. And if you are winning, you'd be surprised how great your culture is.
