Played against some of the best 2010s on the planet. Played with some old friends met some new ones. Played against European teams. Had beer and some laughs with a great parent group. Great experience all around. My kid had a blast. US teams and development is next level. Some US teams play together most of the year which is an advantage.But all and all it showed me my kid is right where he needs to be competing at the highest level and contributing against the best. When 40 teams show up from across the world. I would say that’s a pretty big event that has value. Watch the WHL draft tomorrow the top 10 first rounders were all there. Titans tourney doesn’t matter either. None of it does. The scouts already know who they want. This is all a nonsense. Have had 3 boys go through hockey as did I until 16. The state of hockey development is beyond broken , and picking kids at 15 for a draft is completely idiotic.
At this point , the best strategy is picking the program that will do the least amount of damage, that is how bad hockey dev is! Have only ever seen 1 program this is good.
