There is no need to keep them separate either. Lots of OMHA teams having exhibition games against KSL teams.
there seems to be much more living in harmony.

Anyone playing Waxers MD? Share insights. Should we expect good competition or try NYHL?

Better odds of good competition with Waxers MD. NYHL is done. No kids left. Mostly select/house league teams at this point.

Agreed. NYHL is dying. Stay MD if you are choosing between the two.

Yup. We pulled our kid out and went to KSL. Son was probably #3 on his team. #2 and #1 went to I think KSL.
Two whole teams went to KSL.
I think a few other kids we are sorta friends with went to Waxers MD, and another went to Aurora MD (But they moved I think)

Mass exodus.

Any insight into the best team in the Oakville/Burlington/Milton/Halton loop? Will these teams have decent MD programs this season or have most of the talent left for Klevr / ORHL?

"Most talent" went to KSL.

But that doesn't mean there isn't good players. The problem is, its going to lead to individual talented players suffering a bit because they are either going to dominate or they are going to be playing 1 on 1 with the other teams best player.

its unfortunate, but also, not the end of the world. Find ways to get your kid in some one day tournaments, and training away from the team and they will be just as good as the kids playing is KSL.

I've already seen it on a few occasions during this off season. I don't know that loop specifically, but the MD teams around us still have multiple good players on their team we are trying to recruit for the fall. But, most of them are pretty committed to their orgs and thats admirable.

They will be fine. The kids are going to be fine. The top kids will always be the top kids no matter where they play.

Oakville normally has a good MD program. Not sure how much they have been impacted but if not I would stay Oakville.

Oakville had 3 good kids who did the scoring. All of them left for KSL. I would say Burlington would be the best..
