This team finished 5th out of 8 teams in what was basically a AA tournament. they had the weakest schedule and went 2-3 with their only 2 wins against the 2 teams that both went 0-4 They lost twice to a GTHL AA team
It was the GT Caps who beat them twice. Was talking to someone who was at the game and was told it was typical DM team 5 minute shifts and double shifting 1 or 2 players to the point they no longer are skating unless they have the puck
Its all downhill from here
Gt caps, beast, Ted Reeve are great AA teams. Congrats to their success. Credit River Caps will play AAA teams all next year and that's great... Afore mentioned AA teams will have at least 20 reg season games against Rattlers, avs, tigers, eagles, and a few other A/select teams this coming year. It flows "downhill" smarty pants.
Playing AAA teams is great if your competitive chasing games and getting blown out all year is not fun and provides no development and will ruin many of the kids confidence. Look at Credit River, Markham Majors, Reps, etc There is a reason why those teams repat the same cycle every year at all age groups. New group of AA kids come in and most of the old kids go back to AA.
There is no reason any AA team should beat a AAA team

I remember last summer when I joined CRC and thought the same way as you Now we are back in AA wishing we stayed here last year

This team will have a very tough year good thing some other teams will be weak give them a chance, but they have a kid from MT who was a weak AA team last year and he was there 4-5 Forward. kids he seen on LB from KC, a goalie from ORHL and only one kid that played AAA last year
