Meh - I heard that this organization was done when borders open, now it's give it a year so the new people will see how bad it is.Guest wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 12:35 amHey AMHA- how does it now feel to be bullied now? Bullied and no one to stand up for you?! That is how you've made an immense number of CHILDREN feel, over a number of years. Go. F U C K yourselves. Your organization will be done in a year. Book it.Guest wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 12:25 amWow! Thanks Corby.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 10:06 amIt is open boarder, feel free to go somewhere else. We still have lots people want to join and playGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 12:32 pmSomeone from AMHA: We don't give it a shit and glad to see people suffer.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 12:19 amThe U11AA --> U12AA team had 0 kids make AAA, 7 kids left, 2 assistant coaches quit, star goalie left, and 5 Aurora A kids moved up including 2 A goalies. Considering how much the other teams in the division improved, it would be hard to do worse than last year, but this team will find a way to do worse. Coaching & development is atrocious to non-existent.Guest wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 1:56 pm Does anyone have information on how the Open Borders affected each team? It would be interesting to see the breakdown by team.
The U9MD --> U10AA team had 3 kids make YSE, 7 kids return, 4 kids cut to A and 2 kids left for Stouffville. 9 New Players out of 16.
The U11A -- U12A team only retained 3 kids, a couple moved up, lots of upperyork B kids will improve this team. Assistant coach from upperyork can only improve the coaching & development from last season. Heard a rumor going around that someone from AMHA had a hand in cutting majority of Aurora A kids to ensure they fill the B team. Hope that's not true.
Gonna translate for those who can spell Boarder = Border.
Way to continue to prove that the AMHA is now run, not just by uneducated doofuses, but clearly by power hungry fools who have no hockey background other than watching their mid level kids play. It's a joke. If you're going to try to make a point on behalf of your joke of an organization, at least use proper grammar, you f*t f*ck.
No matter how poorly an organization is run or how bad the coaches, parents, etc are, you will always attract players. The appeal of "playing rep" will be attractive to a lot of people.
As long as there are 15 players and 2 goalies trying out, teams will run. And for an organization like this, they would be smart to hold tryouts later so they can get a lot of cuts from other organizations.
Families will always choose rep over lowering themselves to playing house league, even though there is nothing wrong with house league and saying you play house league. Also, if you find a house league that also runs select, you get that extra bit of competitive hockey at 25% of the price.
