2013 GTHL AAA
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
The fact is the TM organization is not what it used to be. TM has only won 1 championship (U11) over all age groups in the past 2 years. During that same time VK has won 3 and JRC has won 4. AM has not even made the finals in 3 years even with stacked teams every year. From the results and comments on this site and so many players leaving it seems to be a coaching and culture problem. I don’t know where TM will finish next season but it will not be as strong as last years team. It’s just doesn’t have the same amount of talent.

(Last year's record in brackets)
1. TYN: 32-0-1. (31-2-0)
2. VK: 27-5-1. (22-9-2)
3. JRC: 22-8-3. (26-6-1)
4. TM: 21-10-2. (29-3-1)
5. TT: 17-12-4. (5-26-2)
6. MM: 17-14-2. (10-17-6)
Is the computer right???
Good one Basshole. Just stick to your virtual porn tbough bruh.
JRC forwards are getting worse and the goaltending is weak
TM lost its goal scoring and will try to win low scoring games.
AN is the best coach of these 3 teams with DV second and AM third
JRC and TM will lose a couple games to lower ranked teams in upsets just due to their rosters not being as strong as the past more vulnerable
Truth is I wouldn’t let the Marlies coaches coach my dog let alone my son.
VK finish 3. Not impressed with what JRC have done.
Nats 1
Marlies 2
VK 3
JRC 4
NOS > KL
GD > JG
TM fwd group will not be as strong as last year but yes the jersey always refills the cupboard to some degree
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
I agree with the coaching and culture problem. I don’t agree with the talent leaving is better than the talent coming in.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 8:29 am The fact is the TM organization is not what it used to be. JG from 2012 Oakville is a stud
Andrews from Quinte is very very good.
KL may not have high hockey IQ but he works hard and is a difference maker.
TM players going to VK are not much better. Many would say they are not better.
It’s debatable.

JG from Oakville may have issues when contact starts, but he will be very good next year.
Andrews is not as good as any of the 3 players who left for VK. That’s not an insult to the kid but he’s a second line player on a top GTHL team and I would put KL in the same category.
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
anyone wanna post all 4 top 4 team rosters so we can compare and debate?
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
KL is on the decline and I agree he would not be a top player on any top 3 team but he will arguably be better than JG or EA next year. As usual people on here seem to talk about how good a player is based on their ability 2-3 years ago. Anyone who has seen JG or EA within the last 6 months knows they aren’t those players any more. Not even close actually. JG had a rough start in Italy but finished strong, but it wasn’t exactly elite competition. I’ve seen EA play twice this spring and he was not effective at all. Both are perimeter players who can still make something happen if given time and space, but that will be harder to come by this year.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 2:03 pmGood points.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 1:23 pmI agree with the coaching and culture problem. They are good additions for TM considering they had nobody else but they do not make that forward group better than last year.
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
EA parents are expecting top minutes and first PP but the reality is that he is the 5-6 forward on that team and he is not going to get as much ice as they demand. EA parents are notoriously difficult ask anyone from PH Brick or QRD.
Look for another TM blowup next fall!

Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
The biggest addition TM made was on the blue line. TMs defense and goaltending are far more superior to what VK or JRC has , that alone will keep them In the 1/2 spot.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 2:30 pm EA parents are expecting top minutes and first PP but the reality is that he is the 5-6 forward on that team and he is not going to get as much ice as they demand. Nats are still clear favorites, TM is the only team that will give them a run. VK additions are ok but nothing to move them beyond 4th , much like the last 3 years
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
Yeah, can I get a detailed list of additions and subtractions from each of these four teams please? appreciate it.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 2:05 pm anyone wanna post all 4 top 4 team rosters so we can compare and debate?
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
TM added RF on the blue line which is a great addition. The other two kids they picked up are not as good as the two defensemen they lost though. Overall TM defense and goaltending are still better than VK or JRC no question.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Fri Jun 06, 2025 7:31 amThe biggest addition TM made was on the blue line. VK has upgraded their defense, forwards and goaltending. They had a fairly close semi final series with JRC with 1 win, 1 tie and 2 losses. JRC did not improve its team while VK did. VK is poised to finish 2/3 and will give TM a run all season.
