Wow. I don’t recall ever seeing so much hype for 2 players coming down to A. They are both very good players and should make FH better.
How good were they in their respective AA teams?
FH finished 4th in 23/24 and 6th in 24/25 with 9 fewer points. Their real stud moved up after 23/24 to AAA. Goals per game down slightly but goals against year over year up by almost a full goal. Losing their best D to injury for part of the season can account for some of that increase.
LF finished 7th in 23/24 and didn’t make playoffs in 24/25. Pretty much same point total. Said player joined in 24/25. Goals per game up .5 per game.
It’s a team sport - stronger players make a team better if they are team players. The complementary pieces also have to be in place too.
I’m sure FH will be one of the top teams but a lot of the top teams added AA players too. It will make for an interesting season.

FH's perennial problem is coaching and as an extension of that, team cohesion.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 4:08 pm Wow. I don’t recall ever seeing so much hype for 2 players coming down to A. They are both very good players and should make FH better.

It all boils down to a sense of entitlement. When games aren't going their way they don't pull together and coaches get high strung and upset. Toxic post game dressing room vibe. No way they'll fix this in a jiffy by adding talent from AA.

How do you know that the dressing room is toxic? Are you on the team or something?Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 11:28 amFH's perennial problem is coaching and as an extension of that, team cohesion.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 4:08 pm Wow. What a dumb question. Since you're obviously new here I'll spell out the obvious for you. Every comment comes from someone with a kid on the team, someone who's kid used to be on the team, or someone talking to someone who's kid is or was on the team. It's friggin gossip!Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jun 06, 2025 9:16 amHow do you know that the dressing room is toxic?
